FAQ
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
If you are starting out in one of your first classes with us, we recommend fitted shorts and a tank top. We prefer bare feet in the studio for level classes.
For more advanced classes, loose, baggy, extra clothing can be dangerous for execution of specific skills so we do require fitted shorts and sports bras. When choosing your pole outfit, keep in mind that you want to be focused on the skill during class, not fixing your top or bottoms, so please wear well fitted tops and bottoms to keep everything in place and not create a potential danger through distraction.
For specialty classes outside the regular levels, please reference service description for specifics to those.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT MY FIRST CLASS?
When you enter our studio for the first time, you will check in at the front desk to get signed in for class if you have not done so on the Achieve App already. All outerwear is kindly left in the entry way, to help us keep the studio floors free and clear of any dirt from our lobby space.
We ask you to please try to arrive 15 mins early for class. Why? We may have new client paperwork for you to sign, as well as a studio tour and getting changed for your first class.
After you get ready in the change room, find a spot in the studio after the previous class has finished and begin a warm-up as a group. Then the fun really starts. I don't want to give away all the fun details, so I will let you find out the rest when you register and come in for your first class with us! We are so excited to meet you!
WHAT LEVEL SHOULD I TAKE IF I HAVE TAKEN POLE FITNESS CLASSES BEFORE?
Contact us! We can chat through email, socials or even a quick phone call to find out where your current skill would align with our programming.
We can even set up an in person evaluation to make sure you get the most out of your classes here at PR Pole Fit.
WHAT DO I BRING?
We will provide any and all course specific equipment i.e, poles, silks, hoop, inversion stand, cleaner, and towels. You just need to bring a smile, a positive encouraging attitude and water is always a nice addition to your pole class to stay hydrated as you workout!
WHAT FITNESS LEVEL DO I NEED TO START?
We do not require you to have any experience in dance or fitness at all. We pride ourselves in a progression style of programming in our level classes so you have the best journey right from your first day. We work together to build your strength, coordination and confidence so you have a fun and positive experience each class from start to finish. Will it be hard? Yes! Will you sweat? Yes! Will it be worth it? YES!
WHAT LEVEL SHOULD I START IN?
Look for our ENTRY LEVEL classes, regardless of fitness background. Why? Because aerial fitness is filled with non-functional movements, incorporating an apparatus and our own body weight, unique to aerial fitness. In our ENTRY LEVEL classes you will learn all our key, core pole grips, be introduced to all basic spins and transitions and begin work on skin tolerance. You will also receive a safe introduction to other styles like exotic heels, choreography and flow, conditioning, and more.
We want everyone to have a safe and fun experience in our classes. our INTRO TO POLE - 4 week series is a great starting point!
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?
Aerial fitness is for every age! We just ask that a parent or guardian sign for any of our members who are under the age of 18.

We do offer some sensual choreography classes that are 18+
Who is aerial and pole for?
Our classes are for every body. We believe that athleticism and artistry transcend gender. While aerial arts have a strong history of female participation, our studio is a gender-inclusive space that celebrates diversity in all its forms—including men and students across the full gender spectrum. Whether you are here for athletic conditioning or creative expression, you are welcome to train, grow, and belong here.
