Being a beginner and attending your first class can feel exciting, empowering, and a little nerve‑wracking — and that’s completely normal. At PR Pole Fit, we’ve built a community where beginners feel supported, encouraged, and free to grow at their own pace. Whether you join our Intro to Pole 4‑Week Series or start in Beginner 1, you’ll be surrounded by brand‑new students experiencing the studio for the first time, just like you.
What to expect your first class
Arriving at the Studio
When you walk into our lobby, you’ll be greeted and checked in before heading into the studio. Inside, you’ll find eight stainless steel poles, a warm atmosphere, and instructors who are genuinely excited to guide you through your first class.
What to Wear
Pole fitness uses skin contact for grip, so we recommend:
Fitted shorts
A supportive sports bra or top
A tank top or fitted shirt
Wear what makes you feel comfortable — confidence grows with time.
Warm‑Up
Every class begins with a full warm‑up to activate your muscles, improve mobility, and prepare your body for movement. This helps you feel grounded and ready to learn.
Learning the Basics
Your instructor will break down beginner‑friendly skills step by step, such as:
Walks
Spins
Holds
Simple transitions
Everything is taught slowly and safely. No pressure, no expectations — just progress.
In our Intro to Pole Series, everyone starts at the same level. In Beginner 1, you’ll still be in a supportive, beginner‑friendly space.
End‑of‑Class Flow
Class wraps up with a short flow that connects the skills you learned. This is where you start to feel the artistry and confidence that make pole fitness so empowering.
A Community That Lifts You Up
At PR Pole Fit, we believe pole is about more than movement — it’s about trust, self‑esteem, and celebrating your journey. You’ll be encouraged, supported, and welcomed exactly as you are.
